Project: Gender violence victims in prison: breaking the revictimization cycle

Goals of the project:

Within the female prison population, there is a high percentage of women who have been victims of domestic violence in their childhood and adolescence, as well as victims of gender violence during their youth and adulthood.

For all these reasons, the main objective of this study is to analyze the profile of women in prison who have been victims of gender violence when compared to other women also in prison who do not report this type of abusive experience.
